Community Development

2019-09-27

In 2018, we provided 10 training sessions in species monitoring, collective forestland management, nature education, the establishment and management of community-protected areas, and CSP. The number of attendances exceeded 500. We also helped the nature reserve organize 10 public activities on nature education and citizen science experience, generating proceeds of over 100,000 yuan. Specifically, the community directly earned an income of more than 30,000 yuan.
Our team also worked with the community to promote eco-friendly livelihoods, including ecological beekeeping, organic tea plantation, understory Chinese herb plantation and Tibetan pig breeding, native fish propagation and breeding in natural environments, nature education, and eco-tourism.
